What you'll accomplish
By the end of this guide, you'll know how to use Frase to automatically analyze your SERP competition, generate content briefs from live search data, write SEO-optimized first drafts, and track your content's visibility in AI search results like ChatGPT and Perplexity — all in one tool.
What you'll need
- Frase account (starts at $15/month for solo users; $45/month for teams with unlimited documents)
- Target keywords for the content you need to create
- A browser (no installs required — Frase is web-based)
- Time needed: 20-30 minutes to learn the workflow; 10-15 minutes per piece after that
- Cost: $15-$45/month depending on volume
How-To Guide: Use Frase for AI-Powered Content Briefs and GEO Tracking
Step 1: Create a new document and set your keyword
- Log into app.frase.io
- Click + New Document (top left)
- In the "Query" field, type your target keyword (e.g., "email marketing best practices for e-commerce")
- Select your country and language
- Click Create Document
What you should see: Frase crawls the top 20 SERP results for your keyword. A document editor appears on the left; the right panel shows the research sidebar with competitor analysis.
Troubleshooting: The crawl takes 15-30 seconds. If it hangs, refresh and try again with a slightly different keyword phrasing.
